Chincoteague

Located on the Atlantic Flyway, Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge is a great place to observe large diversity of migrating birds. Most of the refuge is located on the Virginia side of the Assateague Island and provides habitat for waterfowl, wading birds, shorebirds, songbirds, as well as other species of wildlife and plants. Other wildlife includes the famous Chincoteague Ponies, Sika Deer, and the endangered Delmarva Fox Squirrel. Black Duck Marsh is my favorite shooting location at Chincoteague. This location provides a diversity of wildlife activity and a spectacular sunrise.
